    Abstract

The study has been conducted to identify the discrimination experience stress of marriage immigrant women and to clarify the relationship between discrimination experience stress and social support to social adaptation and depression. For the generalization of results in this study, 360 participants in Chungcheongnam do were selected as the study subjects and the equation model was to construct and test based on the Stress Recognition Theory. The data was analyzed using structural equation modeling. The modified hypothetical model yielded the following: First, x2=516.129, df=220, CFI-=.941, TLI=.932, RMSEA=.61 and showed good fit indices. Second, a discrimination experience stress and social support, social adaptation, depression showed direct and indirect effects. The results of this study suggested the direction of follow-up study as a longitudinal study to clarify the causal relationship between related variables by introducing various factors such as discrimination and social adaption in migrant process experienced by them.
